Project Description: Supply and Installation of 3 Nos of GE Jenbacher Biogas Engine Generators, each producing 1 MW. Electrical Power produced by the biogas generators are fed directly to the plant electrical system (island mode); thereby reducing power consumed from the electrical grid.

Activation and Output of the Biogas Engine Generators are controlled, coordinated and synchronized with a Master Controller.

JURONG WATER RECLAMATION PLANT PHASE 4 EXPANSION
(CONTRACT 2 – SOLIDS)

Project Start Date: 2nd March 2015

Yamato Technologies is proud is to be selected by Public Utilities Board to be the main contractor for the design supply and installation and commissioning for the Thermo-Hydrolysis System at Jurong WRP.

The project scope includes the following main sub-system components

  • Dewatering Centrifuges
  • Polymer Dosing System
  • Biogas Boilers
  • Cambi THP (B3 System)

The initial capacity of the plant will be 53 tons of dry solids per day, and can treated up to 70 tons dry solids per day if capacity is further expanded.

With its developmental origin in the pulp and paper industry, the Thermo-Hydrolysis Plant uses hot steam to introduce pressure and temperature to treat the sludge, before a sudden reduction in pressure is actuated. This sudden drop in pressure causes a steam explosion, causing the sludge cell walls to rupture, releasing more volatile solids for the anaerobic digestion process.

The pre-treatment of waste sludge using THP process results in significant increase in biogas production, reduced digestate volume from the digester.

Replacement of Membranes and Equipment at Membrane Bioreactor Plant at Ulu Pandan Water Reclamation Plant

Project Description: This project at MBR Plant at Ulu Pandan WRP called for the upgrading of various mechanical equipment and replacement of GE ZEEWEED filtration membrane.

The Scope of Works included:

  • Replacement of GE ZEEWEED 500D Filtration Membrane
  • Installation of new Screening System
  • Upgrading of Gantry Crane
  • Replacement of PVC Pipes to Stainless Steel Pipes
  • Addition of Various Instrumentation
  • Upgrading of SCADA and User Control Interface
  • Upgrading of Compressed Air System
  • Design Improvement of Membrane Tank Covers

PROJECT DETAILS

INTEGRATION AND UPGRADING OF METAL GATES AT HOME TEAM ACADEMY
Project Start Date: 7th March 2016
Project Description: The Project called for the installation of a PAS68 certified sliding gate with interlock to a gate at the fence perimeter.
Overall Gate Dimension: Length 12 m x Height 2.8 m x Depth 1 m; also included are Side Gate for pedestrian access, Sensors and Alarms
Due to the Cantilever and Sliding design of the gate, civil works were involve in the laying of the counter weight underground, laying of Sliding Gate track, and subsequent re-instatement after works were done.
